Francine F. Forbes, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Francine F. Forbes is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to holistic, evidence-based behavioral health care. With degrees in Nursing and Psychology.

As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I take pride in providing a holistic and evidence-based approach to behavioral health care. My practice focuses on medication management combined with supportive talk therapy and a client-centered approach, ensuring each patient feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their wellness journey.

I hold two degrees in Nursing from Northeastern University and a degree in Psychology from Salem State University, where I developed a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. This strong foundation has shaped my passion for behavioral health and whole-body wellness, extending beyond traditional mental health treatment. As a PMHNP-BC, wellness advocate, and coach, I believe in addressing not only the mental aspects of health but also the physical and emotional factors that contribute to overall well-being.

In addition to my clinical practice, I have worked as a public health nurse, serving individuals in shelters and those struggling with substance use disorders for several years. This experience has deepened my commitment to helping underserved populations and working to bridge the gap in mental health care access. My goal is to provide comprehensive care that fosters lasting change in my clients’ lives, helping them achieve balance, health, and fulfillment.

Whether you are seeking support through medication management or lifestyle changes, I am here to partner with you on your journey to optimal health. I look forward to working with you and creating a safe space.
